The Festival of Spain

The festival which I recommend you is the Festival of Pilar. It is held in Zaragoza in Spain. I am interested in Spain, because I am studying Spanish as second language in NUFS. I recommend since I have such reason.

The Festival of Pilar is held in before and after a week of 12th October every year. Do you know the festival? It is the biggest festival of hold in Zaragoza. The name “Pilar” means “pillar” in Spanish and come from the legend. The legend is the Blesses Mary appeared at pillar in front of St James who mission in there. The miracle is commemorated and the big shrine and the figure of the Blesses Pilar build. Then, the figure is worship in not only Zaragoza but all over Spain.

In the festival, a lot of events are held. The most famous event of these is “The ceremony of Offer flowers to the Blesses Pilar” which is held in 12th October. Large people give to the figure which is niched in the Pilar square. There are also “the Religion Procession of Glass”, “Giant” and “Top-heavy” which popular among a lot of children. The festival has another events expect these traditional main event. For example, Fireworks, Concert of classic and so on. The most popular among people of these events is folk dance “Jota” which children dance. The competition of Jota also is held. It is very cute and fantastic. Zaragona become full of people who wear folk costume. These costumes are really vivid. I read a lot of web sites and I want to go the festival someday. How about you?

Japanese Movie

I watched “The devotion of suspect X”. It’s called “Yohgisha X no Kenshin” in Japanese. Do you know the movie? It’s a sequel of a TV drama which is called “GALILEO”. Masaharu Fukuyama, Koh Shibasaki, a lot of famous actors and actresses appeared to it. Have you ever seen the drama? It’s one of the favorite TV dramas. The drama’s story is suspense, but the movie’s story is although suspense, but is also one kind of love story. It’s sad love story. I cried very much during I watch it, especially climax. The drama and the movie’s original are the three novels. The novels’ titles are “Detective Galileo”, “Predictive Dream” and “The devotion of suspect X”. These are written by Keigo Higashino. He is one of the famous suspense writers in Japan. Now is called “Autumn of Reading” in Japan and Why don’t you read the novels? However I haven’t ever read these.

This time’s story begin from is found a body which the all fingers and the all toes are burned and the face is crushed. Kaoru Utsumi (Koh Shibasaki) and Shunpei Kusanagi (Kazuki Kitamura) begins to investigate the incident, but break down soon. They can’t break a suspect’s alibi, and they ask a physicist Manabu Yukawa (Masaharu Fukuyama) to help them. The certain man lives a house next to the woman, Yasuko Hanaoka (Yasuko Matsuyuki) who the police think a suspect live. His name is Tetsuya Ishigami (Shinichi Tsytsumi). He and Yukawa were classmates once and he is a genius mathematician. A genius physicist Yukawa says “As long as I know, He is a real genius.”. Yukawa think Ishigami has something to do with the incident, and he challenges to solve the mystery Ishigami sets. The climax has a beyond our expectations and waits us. Can you expect the climax?

“If I solve the mystery, nobody become happy.” Professor Yukawa said. Do you think really thing? In this connection, the movie’s theme song is “Beloved” sung by KOH+. It's suits the movie very much. I want you to listen to the song once and watch the movie.

Favorite Movie

Today, I am talking about my favorite movie. My favorite movie’s title is “Vantage Point”. Do you know that? It released in March 3rd in 2008 in Japan by Sony Pictures Entertainment. The movie’s genre is suspense and action. Do you like suspense and action movie? If you like that, I recommend it very much! It is really exciting! I watched the movie with sub-titled in the day release. The man who acted the main character is Dennis Quaid. Besides, Matthew Fox, Forest Whitaker, Sigourney Weaver and so on appeared at the movie. Do you know them? If you do not them, click their name.

The story is set in Salamanca, Spain. In there, the president of the United States of America attends an anti-terrorism summit. Although when he tries to speak to audiences, he is shot by a gun, then, a loud explosion happens under the platform which the president stood. You watch the scene which the president is shot for 8 times from eight people’s viewpoints.

The first viewpoint is from TV producer Rex. She broadcasts the summit live, and watches the all incident through TV camera. The second is from secret service protect the United States of America. His name is Thomas and he is main character at the movie. The third is from Enrique who police officer of Salamanca. He comes there to meet his girlfriend, but he has a secret in his bag. The fourth is from Howard who American tourist. He films video by his video camera all the time, and he films the criminal who shoot the president. The fifth is from Taylor who is partner of Thomas. He protects the president with Thomas together. Other viewpoint is from Veronica, Javier and Suarez. I do not talk about them, because they have key-points of the movie. If I talk about them, I mean I talk important thing, when you watch the movie, it become boring. Do you want to know who are they? Thomas runs, fight and do car-chase to solve the incident and catch the criminal. He meet above people who witness the president is shot. He connects their story like a puzzle, and gradually approaches the truth. However the truth is nobody expect it, of course Thomas too. Besides, the president has the greatest secret. The eight viewpoints bring only the one truth. We can be them. We can stand their position and can know their each mind.
